HOCKEY SPEED
PERFORMANCE PROGRAM
The Hockey Speed Performance Program is designed to take hockey athletes' athletic skills to the highest level. With all ages welcome, this outdoor, field-based program includes training focused on acceleration and speed, agility and change of direction, and metabolic conditioning for unstoppable athletic performance.
Athletes will be coached through all movements to ensure safety and proper technique while they develop new skills and learn how to improve their athletic abilities in a positive environment!
To enhance the speed-based training delivered through the Hockey Speed Performance Program, hockey-based strength and power training programs are included with the purchase of a gym membership.

OUR INSTRUCTOR

Ella Lorda
BSc., CSEP-HP
Ella joined the ForFitness community in 2013, first participating in the Middle School Sport Performance program, and then becoming a gym member.
​
In 2025, Ella graduated from the University of New Brunswick, with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. While there, she worked with various populations, including the Varsity Reds and the Fredericton police academy.
​
As well as being an instructor at ForFitness, Ella is also a High-Performance certified trainer (CSEP-HP), and is working towards her certification in Clinical Exercise Physiology.
​
​Outside of work, Ella loves to train and play football.
