Class Descriptions
Strength & Conditioning
The Strength & Conditioning class is a comprehensive training approach to improve health and performance, with a warm-up and then a focus on power, speed, and strength training followed by a cooldown. Whether you are just getting started back to training or have been active and training for a long time, this class will challenge you where you are.
60+ Strength & Balance
Strength and Balance training helps improve joint function and decrease joint pain, helping build stronger muscles to move through your day more efficiently. It also helps build stronger bones and reduces fall risk and injury, allowing you to be more active and giving you more energy!
Kettlebell
Kettlebells are a versatile tool to develop strength, power, and conditioning! Each class begins with a warm-up, focusing on fundamental movements and range of motion, followed by 50 minutes of high-intensity training with a kettlebell. The class finishes with 5 minutes of conditioning - affectionately known as "the workout."
Mobility
Mobility training improves the range of motion of your joints and muscles, improves posture, and alleviates everyday aches and pains. Each class typically focuses on the shoulder, hip, or spine, with other areas mixed in. We practice building strength through our range of motion and even developing a range of motion if needed.
Barbell
Barbell classes focus on the powerlifting squat, bench, and deadlift, each following a progressive training program. This class can complement your other training, or you can get the entire training program with a regular gym membership. Please note that each class will cover only some of the three main lifts. There will be 1-2 main lifts, with additional accessory work rotating each week and progressing over time.
Breathwork & Meditation
This class helps you increase strength and endurance, decrease stress, pain, and anxiety levels, and improve your overall health. Regular breathwork and meditation practice is vital to attaining those goals even faster. Join our class and begin to experience the benefits of breathwork and meditation — such as lower blood pressure and heart rate, reduced feelings of anxiety and depression, and a stronger, more resilient respiratory system.
Hatha Yoga
Each class will focus on the breath while you are guided through poses that focus on strength, flexibility, and developing the connection between the mind & body. We will wind down with some soothing stretches and deep relaxation. All levels are welcome. Mats and blocks are available, but feel free to bring your own props.
