GOLF PERFORMANCE
OUR INSTRUCTORS
Don Connolly
Head Professional
In 1998, with a degree in golf course management under his belt, Don became the assistant professional at the Riverside Country Club. Over the next two decades, he dedicated much of his time to the club - working, teaching and, most importantly, learning from his mentor and father, Jim Connolly.
Don continued his professional development by becoming a Class A member of the PGA of Canada in 2008. He also obtained a Level 2 TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Certification, which enables him to help his students improve their performance through a deep understanding of how the body functions during the golf swing.

From there, in 2016, Don became the head professional of Riverside. And his passion and dedication for the game remains after all these years, mainly due to the fact that he loves teaching, promoting the game, and seeing long-time members (as well as new ones) on the course.
Don especially enjoys working with the junior golfers, ensuring they have fun while learning valuable life lessons through the game of golf.

Off the course, Don is married to Tracey and has two beautiful children, Kenzie and Cas.

He then continued on to graduate from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2009.

Today, in addition to being a Doctor of Chiropractic, Matt has completed various certifications and specializations to round out his therapeutic knowledge base. These include:
-

-
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
-

Having started his professional career as a level-two ski instructor and freestyle coach, Matt has always worked with all ages and types of people. Now, his main focus is on rehabilitation and performance.
Currently, along with his regular patients, Matt works with tactical (firefighter, police, paramedic etc.) professionals, as well as soccer, mixed martial arts, hockey, golf, kayaking, rowing, basketball, racquetball, baseball, and running athletes.

As for his treatment philosophy, Matt uses a movement-based approach when caring for and working with patients and athletes. And, when creating training and/or treatment plans, Matt relies solely on sound, clinical, and evidence-based methods. However, because his 'medicine' is activity-based, he uses education and exercise as his primary treatment modality.

Ultimately, Matt's passion is providing his patients and athletes with the knowledge and skills they need to live and perform pain-free.
