Have you noticed you are not as strong as you used to be?

September 29, 2018

If so, you are not alone. Starting at age 40, muscles mass declines in adults with as much as 50% of muscle mass being lost by age 70. This loss of muscle contributes to a decrease in function and independence.
You can read more about this here https://www.nytimes.com/2018/09/03/well/live/preventing-muscle-loss-among-the-elderly.html
If you would like to do more than read about it join our Strength and Balance class for adults who feel 60 or older. We offer 3 classes per week to help you schedule your training time.  The good news is that you can attend Level 1 and/or Level 2 and enhance both your strength and balance.
If you are new to strength and balance training, consider our level 1 class. We teach you how to move with and without weights in a safe environment. If you have been training for a while this class can assist you in improving your movement techniques.
Tuesdays at 1:00 to 1:50 pm
Level 2 Strength and Balance class is designed for those folks who still need some coaching and who would like to progress their strength and balance training.
Monday and Wednesdays 1:00 -1:50 pm

We also have a new class starting soon called Active Aging is the next step up from our Strength and Balance classes.  Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:30am to 9:20am.
