Matt Forgie - Owner/Operator of ForFitness and Athletics
Don Connolly - Golf Professional at Riverside Golf and Country Club
In 1998, with a degree in golf course management under his belt, Don became the assistant professional at the Riverside Country Club. Over the next two decades, he dedicated much of his time at the club - working, teaching and, most importantly, learning from his mentor, Jim Connolly. He also continued his professional development by becoming a Class "A" member of the PGA of Canada in 2008, as well as obtaining a Level 2 TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Certification which helps his students increase performance through a deep understanding of how the body functions during the golf swing.
Don became the head professional of Riverside in 2016. His passion and dedication for the game remains after all these years. This is mainly due to the fact that he loves teaching, promoting the game, and seeing long-time members, as well as new ones, on the course. Don especially enjoys working with the junior golfers and ensuring they have fun while learning valuable life lessons through the game of golf.
Don is married to Tracey and has two beautiful children, Kenzie & Cas.
